Vadim Glusker
A journalist and documentary filmmaker with over thirty years of professional experience in the European media. After obtaining a Master's degree in Geopolitics from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris in 1993, he began working as a television journalist. For many years, he worked as a foreign correspondent in Paris and subsequently as the head of the European bureau for a major television channel based in Brussels, with a global television audience of over 140 million people. Throughout his journalistic career, he has covered summits of the European Union, the G8 and NATO. In addition, a key focus of his professional work has been his involvement in UNESCO projects for the protection of world heritage. Furthermore, for 20 years he worked at the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals and was a regular contributor to the Venice Biennale.
In 2022, he founded FED (Free European Dialogue), a non-profit cultural and political association—an independent platform for the study of cultural, political, and social heritage in the broadest sense. FED is a media system for preserving and promoting heritage in the context of contemporary geopolitical challenges that are changing and transforming our understanding of the past. FED carries out all types of journalistic activities, including publishing websites and newsletters, producing documentaries and television programs, conducting expert assessments, and providing advice on projects related to economic, political, cultural, and educational integration, with the goal of bringing Europe closer to other countries.
As a guest expert, he has regularly appeared over many years on popular French television programmes: "Le Kiosque" on TV5 Monde and "28 minutes" on ARTE. He is the author of three books, including "Sarkozy vu d'ailleurs", published by about.bio3LinkMichalon. In 2015, Vadim Glusker was awarded the French state honour, the "La medaille d'or des valeurs francofones". This medal recognizes those who devote themselves to the development or tightening of linguistic or cultural ties between France and other countries sharing the French language, or to the development of the French language and culture in their country. about.bio4LinkSite

Our mission
Our mission is to return the past to the public space as living material, rather than as a closed resource of states, ideologies or elites. "FED" was created so that independent journalism, cultural heritage and political analysis work together: we examine how historical narratives are formed, who controls them, and what consequences this has for the present.
We are engaged in the production and development of "Next Heritage" in the broadest sense — a platform and ecosystem where documentary investigations, historical and political narratives, educational content, digital formats and public dialogue come together. This includes independent media projects, research materials, video and text cycles on key figures and events spanning distant centuries to the present day, as well as a look toward the future. We work with memory, archives and the cultural heritage of Europe. We deliberately build a space in which the past is not preserved as a museum piece, but becomes a tool for understanding power, society and the future.
